After about a dozen discussions and one or two flamefests over this very subject combined with hearing enough "If you can only give positive rep then we can cure cancer and stop AIDS!" comments to make me want to puke up a lung I have a right to be tired of it.

is it good? yes. is it perfect? no. id like to see mor privileges given to the elders and elites of the forum, maybe multiplied reputation points to give and the inability to lose rep themselves... but it isnt worth arguing over.

Right now, the Rep system doesn't have much functions. So don't go about worrying about people de repping you for nothing will happen (yet). Just don't anger other members, and you will be fine. :D
