Nope, you're not yet crazy. Welcome to otaku-dom, my friend.
Anime may influence the viewpoints of people but I don't think it should affect viewpoints. I mean, your viewpoints ultimately are your own decision to choose, not anime's. Anime can't decide for you to begin with. It's not like tarot or horoscopes.
It's the same with personality. Anime can show you the doors but it's you who has to open that door.
Maybe currently you need a little breather. Try wallowing in reality for the meanwhile. And maybe in reality's grasp you can see what you really need to see. That's my advice.
Well if anime can influence and "show you the doors" then wouldn't it be possible for me to decide to open up those doors? But I understand what you're trying to say. It's just tough to go through life in general. Why can't it play out like an anime? My hopes for life are just way to high. Reality is boring. Most people understand that since in games, movies and books the story is always far fetched and exciting. No one would buy a game where you play as a normal salary man and sit at a desk for hours on end. I know that none of this will ever happen to me in real life but I can always look up and hope for it right?
Otaku-dom is... different. Personally I find the word Otaku to be used waaay to lightly. It's more of an insult if anything. Ah, well if Otaku-dom is what I have joined then sure welcome me.
Well, gomen ne for that offensive one. But no one can deny you're into anime, so we'll leave it at that ^_^
Yep, life is tough and it doesn't play out equally for the rest of us. But hey, opportunity is fair once it comes your way. And yes, always look up and hope for it. If opportunity comes by, never let it go.
I learned one thing from anime, hopefully it may help you too:
"If you make a wish, and if you keep on making the same wish, hard enough, earnestly enough, it will be granted. That's how strong human wishes are."
