And no, 80 years is not enough to "enjoy the world" because from our perspective that's the only world we have, people who go bored of living are people who are suffering when living, not enjoying. Actually, if you see researches about peoples regret on their deathbeds, even when old, most of them are "I wish I had enjoyed more and worked less" "I wish I had worked less" "I wish I had more time to enjoy"
Well , if he would have worked less , he would have had more time to enjoy . You don't regret not having enough time , you regret spending it wrong . You're talking here abouth regrets and people on their deathbeds , you know why they start regreting only on their deathbed ? Because they understand that they don't have much time left and that life , in the end is precious . Biological immortality wont solve this problem , it will only delay it . If he didn't understand how to live happily in 80 years i don't think that 200 will helps . Like i said before , why look for immortality when philosophy already gives a solution to this problem .

because nobody wants to lose their only life.
That's not true , i am ready to die , if someone pointed a gun to me today i would close my eyes and without regrets tell myself that it was a hell of a good time i had . I acheived this state of mind thanks to philosophy .

80 or 200 years will never be enough
You know what , i have a theory that just came to my mind . I think that if those who want to live because they want to enjoy life longer would be able to live as long as they want they wouldn't die happy . They would live until they get every grasp of joy they can take from life and then they would still want more . In the end they would probably kill themself from depression .
Let's take an exemple , the rollercoasters come to your city once a year for only 3 days . You go there , maybe once , maybe twice , maybe even three time if you really like it . After the third day you say to yourself ; "oh i wish they would stay longer " but most people will add : " oh well , at least it was fun the time it lasted " .
Same situation , but they stay in your city forever . You go once , twice , 10 times , 50 times and you start to be bored with it . Some people will say "it's ok , i think i had enough now " but most people won't say that . The brain is done to research constantly pleasure in life , so once you get bored , your brain will say ; "i want to continue having fun " . And since it's the only rollercoaster in the world you would start looking for one until you kill yourself from depression .
It's like there was something happening in your brain when you face an unavoidable ending that make you stop searching for it but as long as nothing tells your brain that it has to stop , he will continue searching ...
In conclusion (wtf i wrote so much ?) i lived only 22 years but if i had to die today ,i would be as much happy as you would be after living 2200 years and that is if you end up living happy because i think that a programmed death is key to a happy life . Instead of working on the body , we should work more on the mind .
