Alright so this thing happened at work and i need real answers to help me figure it out so i can get my mind off of it.
Alright so i work at O'Reilly as a Delivery Specialist and my job is to get the auto part that needed to the correct location on time.
So i have been there for about a few months now and today just happened to be the worst one of them all.
Ok so i was heading out on a long ass drive to a place that needed an axle for their car.
While on my way there i was doing about 75 on a 55 lane.
(Givin that i do that every time i go out there and NEVER get caught)
Anyways as i was heading there i got caught by a cop and he gave me a ticket for $173 and a court date this January 14th.
So i headed back to work and showed my boss the ticket.
He didnt look to happy and all my friends i worked with there where cracking joke like "Your getting fired"
So i start freaking out, that what if i DID lose my job and i still owed the money for the court date?
So now im stressing out right now and i need some advice or some shit just to get my mind off of this.
I have to go in tomorrow and kiss the bosses ass to keep my job.
If i lose it i lose my apartment and could go to jail for not paying the court fee and speeding fee.

What do you guys think?
Do you think i shouldnt worry about it?
Do you think i will keep my job and they will let this one slid?
The boss did say i HAVE to pay the fine and i told him i would and that would not be a problem.
So he has to talk to his head boss and see what he says.

If you've been a good employee thus far, they'll want to keep you, so they might overlook this... "Small mistake", long as you take responsibility for it. However, this should give you a lesson as why you should follow the speed limit.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
But trust me he gets he ass kissed MANY times by the other employees.
As for me? I have always been the quite one and always to myself.
But if it comes to kiss his ass, then so be it.

Just say it was an honest mistake and that it'll never happen again. Yeah, delivery is about speedy service, but I think it's safe to say that companies that offer delivery services would rather people to be safe than sorry.
As for the court date, you really shouldn't stress about it, especially if this is your first ticket.
For starters, get to the courthouse at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appearance, and that's if you're planning to see the judge. I got a speeding ticket, so I can say from first-hand experience that as long you're honest about why you were speeding, they might reduce the fine, or waive it altogether if you take a driving course or deferred adjudication, (probation, basically, but with the promise that if you stay out of trouble for a certain amount of days, the offense won't show up on your record).
Just in case, take a notepad with a pen or pencil so that way you can write down whatever important information they tell you.
Just remember to stay cool, both with your boss and when you go to court, and you should be fine. I had to tell my boss that I had a court date, and thankfully, I was able to get a day off to take care of it.

But he was determined to fire me.
So yeah i lost my job..im so fucked now..

He told me, that since iw as still on my 90 day evaluation and going over the speed limit and getting caught was a serious offence and which caused me to get fired.
ugh Fuck me..

You still have that court date in a few weeks, so there's nothing you can do until then, other than getting another job elsewhere, and it doesn't have to be a fastfood place. I work at Carino's, and it's not so bad, really.
Again, when you go to court, just stay calm throughout. Also, not sure if this is possible for you where you live, but you can ask if you can take a Defensive Driving course to have the ticket dismissed. You'd still have to pay a court fee, and the cost of the class itself, assuming they let you take it, but that's better than having a ticket on your record, (especially if you're looking to get any other job that involves driving).
Just calmly explore your options at the courthouse, if there are any.

Tell the judge that you lost you job and if they could ease up on the fine. Otherwise you may have trouble paying the fine. If the judge isn't a complete asshole and it's your first offence, maybe they'll go easy on you.

Tell the truth to the judge. Pay all your bills and make sure you have enough food to get you by, and see if you can afford the fine. If you can't, say so. Explain that you did the right thing by showing your ticket to your boss and you got fired as a result. Do your best to get hired in a respectable amount of time, but if you have no money you have no money... You could always ask for help [e.g. loan] from a friend or relative, but play it straight. If nothing else, you'll gain good karma and hopefully, things will pan out.
