Could Our World Today Be Advanced Without Technology?

Advanced in terms of what? Civility, morality, independence?
But if I were to take it as advanced in terms of technology, I'd say yes only because we already have the knowledge to create such technology and can replicate and duplicate it as many times as we want.

The Mayans were incredibly advanced for their time (I think), but that's not what I'm talking about. I mean, right now, if guns didn't exist, computer didn't work, basically, picture a worldwide EMP going off, and lasting forever. Would we be able to adapt?
it depends. Countries like Canada (unfortunately ;)) the US, Japan, and many up and coming countries like India and China, etc. would be absolutely helpless because we have been using such technology for so long we have forgotten and lost the ability to function without them. so we would be absolutely helpless. but there are still countries in the world that have absolutely no technology and they survive as well as we do.
and yes the mayans were extremely advanced. they figured out the exact amount of days in a year to 1/7th of a minute just by looking at the stars :P

I believe we are advance because of our technology. So no our world wouldn't be advance without the Tech. We wouldn't even be communicating if we didn't have this tech.

Advanced is for a large portion dependant on technology, as eventually you simply can't go any further without it.

well sorry to be a negetive or anything but by deifintion i rember my computer tech teacher explained that technology is a way of overcomeing obsticles or omesuch or makeing something easer so everything from a microchip to a old fashin feather quil is a form of technology same with tools such as hammers axes levers pullys ext ext so if you think hard without any technology we wouldint be able to live. however without ADVANCED technology i think wed be fine. if you conisder advanced technology things like cars airplanes and computers and electronics i think wed be fine. however if it were to suddenley disapear a day from now wed be screwd as heavily as we are addicted to it we rely on computerise equipment for just about everything there is no way we would be able to sustain the population we do without it

I think something could happen to our technology in the near future. The sun is overdue for another huge solar flare. There was one 1989 that knocked out the energy grip in Quebec for 9 hours. Devastated the economy.
Something like that could happen, except one a much more powerful one. Could devastate the economy and energy and crap. Without energy, the technology we have can only go so far.
But I think if humans didn't have technology, especially those in first world countries, there would be a huge panic. Millions would starve as food spoils because there's no electricity. Oh man.... The world would be a hell hole for several years until we can get some electricity of some sort.
Something like that could happen, except one a much more powerful one. Could devastate the economy and energy and crap. Without energy, the technology we have can only go so far.

Remember that technology was invented indirectly or directly by man for survival... Regardless how impossible the situation is, Man's instinct for survival will drive him to perform impossible feat or think the unthinkable.
