First off, this is NOT about the religious / scientific theories of creation.
This is about human evolution from our current stage.
For benefit of this topic, suspend religious beliefs in favor of scietific evolution theories.
Kk, now that thats out of the way, I want to talk about what you peopel think of human evolution.
As bad as this may sound, I think people as a civilization are stagnating. Care for handicapped (physical and mental) and peopel susceptible (sp) to disease further block evolutionary progress.
Evolution was about the strongest surviving and reproducing more, therefore traits that made that animal or plant were passed along more and more until it was a dominant trait and the species would be forever changed.
By taking care of all the weakest and craziest people, we have stopped the ability to further ourselves. Everyone is NOT equal. It is a simple fact. Some people ARE simply better humans. There are peopel that are naturalyl stronger, more dextrous, agile, smart, and disease-immune than others. "Weak constitutions" would mean that an animal in the wild would not make it to its first birthday.

Further more, people today are more attracted to less survival-based traits. While social prowess is a skill taht is debated, it has some influence on the overall picture of human kind. Women and men are generally more drawn to popular people. Now this can be a good thing, such as physical prowess being a lure, but more and more people go for the opposite. I recommend seeing Idiocracy (just for the theory established in the beginning, although the rest is serious comedy and not truthful in any way, it makes a good point). The more intelligent people are generally the ones shunned by society and therefore are able to reproduce less.
Since pure strength is no longer a much needed trait in today's world, it SHOULD be somethign that subsides in the progress of evolution. Intelligent people simply do more for humanity than muscular people.
(Note that following statements are not meant to offend)
An example is black culture. Being "gangster" is suppsoed to be hip and cool, and with this goes a degradation of culture. English is degraded into ebonics, as well as social graces. However, this behavior is seen as more desirable than say, a 4.5 GPA person with glasses. (IE generic high school story where smartest person gets less ass than the IQ < 100 jock).
The dumbest people seem to attract the other sex more and more which results in bad traits being passed down rather than good ones.
Now I am not the strongest or the smartest, but I am far higher than normal average in both. (IE I got league champion in track for assorted field events all high school, and we were in the first league, but i also kept a GPA > 3.5 all the time). Im simpyl lucky to have turned out the way I am.

K, so sorry for the lengthy post but say any ideas you guys got.
I agree with most of this but not all.. How do you think the gangster culture developed? After segregation blacks were still poor and only had enough to live in housings which created poverty then the gangster culture came about early 1800s (or even earlier). Basically blacks were forced to accustom to the culture because they couldn't escape it and being a gangster=uninteligent person? If so then they're not the ones to be blamed(many people have the street smart and can succeed in life). Strength should no longer be much needed? Without strength the smartest wouldn't be able to invent and build what we have today ie buildings, cars, and all that heavy stuff it's about balance strength help smart smart do the same in return if subsided in humanity now the world would most likely have failures.
(not to be taken as flamming, negative response nor insult but my opinion because this is a serious discussion, and I respect yours)
