Well, I only agree if it's in the real world especially rape like student and daughter been cheated. But to take on the game and manga, what the heck? It may sound crazy but I think the hentai game and manga could reduce the amount of rapist since they had a video game to play to control their mind from having too much erotic ideas. I don't think the ban is effective, who knows there might be well-known people having affair with schoolgirl.

I thought the ban is a ruse but I read the hongfire forum that Japan hentai game would be limited to Japan only so outside nation won't be able to download their product due to ipp blockage.

It appears Equality Now is trying to ban ALL forms of hentai, this time sending a letter to the UN about how Japan is "Rape Heaven",etc.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. Japan is about as bad as the United States when it comes to ignoring the United Nations when it comes to the UN trying to interfere in their affairs. I doubt the UN will act, but I doubt even more that the Japanese government will give a damn what the UN has to say.

I figured as much, but this is getting ridiculous. I can't believe they would go this far and at the time same time think the UN can do anything about it. This group has got some kind of bloodlust or something, its RIAA all over again and look where that ended up. I can't help but laugh at this whole thing, when they should be going after the real crimes and whatnot, instead of the so called poor innocent 2d victims...*sighs*. I'm probably rambling on here, but its hard to keep this serious after seeing the article I posted earlier. Actually, i believe the probability of a hentai ban is pretty high, just, i doubt worldwide.

I mean, history has proven that things that you would think is impossible to ban CAN get banned. But it gets interesting after that. Will the ban stop people from creating/distributing said banned product? No, it won't. In fact it might help it flourish, who knows? Like the time alcohol was banned in the USA.
They banned it, and that just encouraged people to bootleg it.

If the ban will come, it will come and pass. They WILL be forced to give up on it eventually.
