the thing is most hentai IS inspired from real life only like other artists they do their work the way they want to so we end up with demonlilis and stuff but IT DOES have its roots somewhere in reality.Personally there are some parts of hentai that id love to see (like me being a guy that 3-4 incredibly hot girls want and it results in lots of sex and some threesomes) but not all the raping beating killing part....thats a feetish people must leave for the hentais because it is currently not accepted in society

I think in my opinion, some of it happens in real life(incest,rape,bunnies), u know? So i think it is a side of people we are just attracted to that we want to know. Just my opinion though.

Strangely, I think that most of the things I like in hentai I would also like in real life. For example, I try to avoid hentai with the "forced" tag. It... scares me? I'm not sure how to put it, but it's just disturbing. One example is Ura K-On: https://www.fakku.net/viewmanga.php?id=4334. I think the art is great, but the story is upsetting enough that I just read it in Japanese so I can't understand it. However, I do enjoy hentai of characters who are under 18 without any qualms. I think this is because I don't find it as viscerally upsetting in real life as I do scat, guro, rape, etc. in real life. If people hear about a rapist, they think "This person is a monster and must be jailed immediately," but if they hear about an under-18-year-old having consensual sex with an over-18-year-old, the backlash is not nearly as intense. Also, most of the non-forced hentai of this is just people who are under 18 having sex with other people who are under 18, which is not really that much of a problem at all.
There's a big exception, though: I find a lot of the art in hentai great, but the real-life counterparts not that great at all. For example, genitals in hentai are essentially idealized, but in real life I don't really like the way they look - in real porn, penises could have veins or whatnot, which freaks me out.

It would be interesting to watch some of it (Tentacles comes to mind) to see the look on someones face when they watch someone sprout all these penises. I just think people think its ok for it in hintai because well its hentai its not real but if they saw it or hear about it in real life they might be turned away from it in real life but not in hentai.

First off, yes I agree with OP. The hentai that I fap to doesn't reflect the actual porn I watch, nor what I want IRL.
To answer "why?"...Well I can only fap to actual Japanese style drawing hentai (as opposed to "hentai" that looks like Stan Lee drew it). I think this is because Japanese style (real) hentai puts emphasis on what appeals to humans, both in the actual drawings and the storyline (if you consider some hentai to have a storyline...other times...not so much). For example, characters -especially women or feminine characters- in hentai are usually drawn with soft, innocent, and warm faces. I would attribute this to how eyes are drawn: large, but benign (not like benign cancer you shit). Also, other prominent features include very curvy and shapely bodies that might possibly be out of proportion IRL but are appealing when left mostly to the imagination, as is the case with hentai.
Obviously, storylines in hentai are almost never reflective of real life scenarios, but it goes without saying that that is what makes it so appealing. People want what they can't have. I would say that is why people are turned on by hentai that is about something that may contradict their own moral values (I.E. rape, loli, incest, homosexuality).
