How long would you like to live?

I took immortal life as my choice, because i want to watch over the progress of mankind. I want to see what our world looks like in 500 years, and to see that fakku would still be there on our hightech equipment or stone pillars (depending on what the world will be then xD)

I would, seriously, never choose Immortal life. To me, life should be over and done with, a beginning and an end. What you do with your life whilst you have it matters most to me, but if I could choose how long I would live for, I would go for around 500 years. I wouldn't mind reaching 500 and then kicking the bucket.

People who chose immortality made up the 'but I can die whatever I want' rule with that, which isn't correct. Immortal mean immortal.

I'd choose extended, at some point in time life will wear on you and you'd like to rest. Living another 100-500 years would be just fine to see where technology brings us.

I've always been incredibly jealous of babies and children. Because they get to see things I might not live to see. Sometimes on Discovery Channel there's a show in which they let you peak at the latest technology and possible building projects in the future and at the end of the show they tell it will probably be realized in 20-30 years from now. This always makes me think about how old I will be at that point and sigh.

I want to experience these things while I'm still young and fresh, but I know I never will. It really pains me and thus makes me jealous on those who will experience all that greatness in their teens while I will be 40-60+ or even older.

So yes, an extended life would be wonderful.
