How many of you share your hentai with your gf/bf/fiance'?

Have a girlfriend knows I like anime and manga but does not and probably won't know about my hentai collection for a while.
1)Because I don't want to poison her little mind
2)She'll probably never look at me the same way again
3)I have loli hentai and I have no idea how to explain "loli" to her

I've had a serious boyfriend and a friend-with-benefits who both liked hentai. Their tastes were different from mine -- I prefer tentacles, rape, dom/sub, etc. Both of them were pretty vanilla. If I came across pictures or doujins with just naked chicks enjoying sex, I'd send it to them. Sharing is caring, man!

I often wonder if I'll have to stop reading manga/doujinshi etc. when I get a serious girlfriend or get married. I think it would be pretty awesome if my partner and I shared it as a common interest... like say, read or watch something and then try it out ourselves later. Many couples watch pornography together for ideas and experimentation, so why not hentai?

So, I'm curious about the couples who DO share with each other; what are your experiences? Are you completely open about it with each other or do you keep some things private? Have you had previous partners that you wouldn't share your activities with?

Too embarrassed to come out of the closet with my friends simply because when I was younger and I said that Rei Ayanami was hot, I got bullied and pretty much criticized for it throughout elementary.

My last girlfriend liked anime but wasn't really into it like I am. She would only watch some animes (like 3 total: Naruto, Elfen Lied and some Peach Girl or something...) and the others she didn't really find appealing. So I didn't share my love of hentai with her. We had a nasty breakup so I'm glad I didn't or my love of hentai would have been exposed pretty bad and that would have hurt my social life (i'm betting on this).

I share it with my girlfriend, hell she loves the stuff...for some reason always seems to get pissy when she finds out I'm reading an ecchi manga though which really confuses the ever living fuck out of me, don't think I'll ever figure out women entirely.

Single male otaku in his 20s, so I have no "other." I would if I did. I highly doubt anyone but another fan would be my girlfriend, waifu etc. anyhow. It would be quite a bit of work to corrupt an innocent into it, I think, though that might be kind of fun.

On topic: My girlfriend is a little bit too conservative to know about hentai just yet. I'm actually worried about how she would react if she found out. Although, she is Asian so she might react better than expected :P. I know her brother is into it, too.

Some of my x-GFs, mentioned (quiet complaining) how can you (meaning I) get turned by these cartoons (that's their main description).

I politely mentioned the babes are just hotter the RL female pornstars. The cartoon babes are hotter than the RL Porns.

I received weird looks from them wondering if I totally live in a fantasy world.

When I had a gf i thought about sharing it with her, but that would have caused an argument. She LOVED to talk about sex and make penis jokes but when push came to shove about sex she was like a toddler. The sad part is we are the same age, and in the same age demographic, and she is STILL shy about the subject. It wasn't an issue, and I was not about to let it become one, so that ended up in a break up.

Unless my future gf understands the male need for porn, or interest in porn, then I doubt I will share it. Plus porn is more driven towards males anyway, and any driven towards female porn I find I might not like :p
