I would like to die in a way where others would be spared/saved.
For example, going gung-ho with a chain gun against a moderately big group of bad guys to "save the hostages".
OR
Cover up a grenade that would have killed many people by lying down on it. Like that War-Hero did.

Like being torn apart after an epic week long, 4-sided battle between you, a grizzly bear, some kind of grizzly bear/dinosaur hybrid, and Thor dressed like a grizzly bear. I'd prefer to die in honorable combat. I don't really care if it's to save someone, or a duel sort of thing. As long as it's in honorable combat. Confronting an enemy on equal terms. winning determined by superior skill and/or strategy. My final words being "If I die you are forgiven, if I live I will kill you." Maybe fighting someone like Musashi Miamoto, or someone equally skilled. Preferrably with my blade in my hand. Yeah, I'm descended from vikings... somewhere in my ancient lineage.

I'm close to that. I would want to go out after causing a lot of chaos and anarchy. Nothing will get you remembered more, if you put an established country into an upheaval.
