Let's not forget this gem of a thread GirlFountain: https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=67821#2148753
Is my opinion allowed to change or will you consider old threads proper evidence of my current feelings.
Is your opinion allowed to change? Why, yes. Of course it is.
Are past statements and STAUNCH defenses of a certain position allowed to be switched with attacks on others who hold the belief you once defended? Most certainly. I just think it strange that your opinion did such a rapid about-face once your own rep score went negative.
Do you think it is because you are loathe to be considered in the same way you once considered others with such low scores? Could it possibly be because you are inconsistent in your beliefs and only hold onto them as long as they are beneficial to you?
No. I'm sure I am just being ridiculous. There's no way any of that could be the case is there?
Your entire argument is based on assumption, I am not at all backing what is specifically only beneficial to me, I am simply enlightening the previous user on how rep works here. From what I have seen, there is no moralistic values in reputation on this site.
People change, you make it seem like that's something to be ashamed of.
You're misinterpreting me. I am in no way implying that this is a bad change. It's good that you finally understand that rep is meaningless. All I am saying is that your attack on someone who holds the same views you held not so long ago is ill advised. To call someone a moron for thinking negative rep matters, you have to admit that you were also a complete moron a short while ago. I also find it quite difficult to believe that a statement such as "Rep means nothing, moron." was meant for a purpose as high as the "enlightenment", as you put it, of another individual.
I am, however, finding it a humorous "coincidence" that your views about rep shifted abruptly once you gained negative reputation yourself.
After all, correlation does not imply causation; it merely winks suggestively while pointing and mouthing "Over here!".
