I want to be a loser. For too long I've been the big bad jock guy. I'm sick of dating fake girls. I'm sick of cheerleaders and brainless hoochies.
I'm sick of everyone copying me because whatever I do "Is cool". I want to be a faggot who chronically visits fakku.

I can't keep lying to myself and coming off as a badass. It sucks.
I want to date more dorky chicks and spend time at conventions.

The problem is that I don't know where to start, and of course the dorks hate me.
I need pointers and ways to spend my time. Help me out here.

Well you kind of have an advantage from your position. The dorks a likely enough not going to hate you if you try and be friendly with them. Why not ignore their glares and ask them if they like any of the "dorky" stuff you do? From there you should have something to go on.

Being nice to the "dorky" people is a start, calling them by what they are is the first step, be they gamers, computer nerds, or otherwise, learn to recognize their individual sub-culture, this includes goths, emo, gamers, and the like. No one likes to be called a dork, because that is a dolphin's penis, which is insulting. Wanting to join the other subcultures in society involves dressing funny and knowing what in that subculture is and isn't acceptable, which generally means acting like yourself, to find out what you are, and then joining others like yourself.

I apologize, I only feel skeptical due to recent experiences in this forum, several of which were in serious discussion, Waar even mentioned a person that has caused such disfunction.

If you really want to be loser, don't be a loser, approach the people who you call "loser" not with a mentality of becoming one of them, but with the mentality of hanging out with people who share the same interests as you. You're approaching it wrong if you're thinking "Yeah, I wanna become a loser" you've gotta think more along the lines of "Yeah, I wanna be a person who likes anime, and going to Cons, etc." Stop thinking of yourself as a jock and think of yourself as a person who's interested in what ever he is interested in. At first, you'll come off arrogant, people will think,"Who's this guy who thinks he's so cool that everyone is his friend?(nerds, popular kids, jocks, etc. included)" But soon, your new demeanor will start to spread and people will open up to you, and listen to you, without persecuting your preferences for entertainment. Eventually, you, and everyone who you've befriended, won't be nerds, losers, jocks, or cheerleaders. They'll become what they are, people.
