my theory is that people in here have some sort of japanophilia, and seeing that there are literally no blond girls there...

I've always just preferred darker hair, and it has nothing to do with wanting a Japanese woman. I just like long, straight, dark hair.

I didn't mean that blond girls dye their hair blond, and it looks shitty. I meant that a lot of girls you see with blond hair actually have a different natural hair color, but they dye their hair blond. And hair that's one color and then dyed blond usually looks like shit.

My theory is that people overall in society don't favor blonds more than any other hair color. It's just something that's said. I've met few people in real life that preferred blonds to brunettes or redheads. Most often, if people care about hair color a lot, they like redheads, I've found. That may just be people around me though.

I wouldn't mind dating a blonde, having a blonde friend or anything along the lines but I hear people talk about how they would love to have a blonde in bed, date a blonde and so on... way too often.. so after a while it gets old. Makes me wonder what's so great about blondes anyway (no offense to any out there...).

Anyway, to answer the question I think blondes are definitely more popular, but personally hair color isn't of much importance to me and blond definitely wouldn't be my favorite; simply because.. having seen it and heard it so much, it's lost it's touch/become a little annoying.
