For those who wondering why the US is in its current situation should watch Eisenhower's farewell speech.

From what i read, i don think he should be impeached. While he should be going through congress to wage war, nothing he has done has constituted treason or impeachment. The followin is my opinions, and i base it on my own theories, and few facts.

War it seems is a necessary evil for America. Each World War has brought us out of economic depressions. People who dislike paying high taxes yet insist upon buying unneeded things ate doing nothing for the good of the country with it, so why should they have it? U know how easily our debt could be wiped out if our richest citizens donated some of their idle millions to the cause? But our country is full of greed and self interest.

Our troops were mentioned a few times. Them just getting back from Iraq, etc. They signed up to be a soldier of the United States. It would be one thing if thet were drafted, but that isnt the case. They get paid for their service, so ill use a metaphore. When ur at your job, do you get paid, and your boss not care if u stand around and so nothing? No, they get mad and make u work. So, why should we pay our soldiers to be safely at home? If stationed on a base or something, its understandable, but if they are living as a normal civi, why pay them?

My last topic is news and knowledge. We Americans are ignorant of much of the world news unless we look online and such for it. Our news networks dont cover much of the important stuff that goes in on the world. Many of my friends from different countries tell me their news is more informative about the rest of the world. Without knowing how the rest of the world is fairing, is it any wonder why we are opposed to interfering with the rest of the world?

Which is why we are in this depression now... the riches do not pay ANY taxes and the middle class and the lower class do.

How exactly do you expect to do that?The average American is an egotistical idealist that can't stand to lower their standards to that of the outside world. Fine, let's go isolationist for awhile and focus on increasing industry and internal production. Of course the fine print of the world would require us a few decades of suffering and centralization from the government to inforce but your totally fine with that right? I mean all you would be losing is the ability to have luxuries, a complete loss of the American dream for ALL, economic freedom, and every standard of public infrastructure. The issue with increasing industry here in America is that to do so all Americans must sacrifice the basic beings that make us America. First, because of a lack of incredibly accessible material such as rare metals for example, you would have to skyrocket prices to first import in the supplies for an update of infrastructure and then surplus companies to make up for possible loss to have a return in American based labor. Next, you must abolish trade unions and the such and reduce average salaries to something around the likes of a third world country to sate businessmen who now are returning to America and still want a decent profit margin. But of course with this the average American would have no access to what they make much like Chinese workers and because of a upheld standard of right would probably protest and riot. Essentially you now have to pay for an increasement of enforcement and probably regulate the populace with legislation which would destroy the political capital of the current leading party and reduce the overall thick power of the judicial and executive branches. In addition to this, since the businesses now employed by America just lost their target audience because that audience unilaterally has no ability to buy their goods would eventually export to European countries for some profit and ask for more money from America or outsource once again. Only then would they and America concurrently would be able to compete with the Eastern world for targets but following the ideal of the Matthew effect in which one with initial advantage continues to have advantage, America would sooner or later lose its ability to compete with China and other Asianic producers. Finally the venture of increasing industry would stop and morale of the overall country decimated which could only be overturned through success in conflict and a rallying behind a political rock persay. However, this would be impossible as to surplus the ex-returned-to-America business would require trade offs from the DoD and DoJ, in which we lose all war fighting ability. In finality, your claims that we need to increase industry would lead to our drop from the global spectrum and finally the collapse of mother America as with all the other civilizations that tried to do the exact same thing years before.

Obama does have the power to declare war without Congress. They can veto his decision after 90 days.

So how do you guys feel about Obama turning in the US military over to the UN?

There are some benefits given to soldiers (both active duty and inactive), but it's nothing like welfare. They can't survive on those benefits; They have to work.
