Japan’s New Monarch

So Japan is getting a new emperor. How do you think that might change Japan and its politics and economy? I heard he's even more nationalistic than the current one? Will these new changes in any way affect the politics and the entertainment industry, together with hentai, manga and anime?

What do you think will change and why?

No. Japan got a new emperor on April 31th. It won't change anything since the emperor doesn't have any government power. He has less power then the queen of Britain. He more a figure head and religious head then actual state head like the prime minister or president.

Now the prime minister wants an actual active offensive military since China and north Korea are acting like they own far east Asian and the Pacific. Which article 9 probably should be renegotiated but that would take the people voted it back in and the US agreeing. They learn the lesson of aggressive military provocations and colonialism.

Thanks for the explanation. You know, I'm asking because of our western politics and how they may affect our beloved hentai industry and Japan in general. Also all other Japanese entertainment. So I had hope the new emperor would make it even clearer that Japan won't change but I have little experience with Japanese politics. What is you stand on these issues?

Nothing will affect what a sovereign country does but it own people. Example. Even though child porn was illegal in 95% of the world by 1970's. Japan didn't ban making it until the 90's(1993 i think) and made it illegal to own until 2016 and i mean actual cp not lolicon. IF anything japan is more stricter on content then the west in terms of obscenity. Of course on the porn front it's all based on what the obscenity laws are.
