Legality of Hentai in Canada

Sooo. I'm kind of a lurker here for like 4-5 years already never really post much. Anyway recently Moved to canada. Been here for a almost a week, and as an avid reader of hentai/doujin I really want to read here but I am afraid of getting in trouble since the laws here are quite strict more so than my former country of living.
Here are my formal questions.
1. Is it illegal to read hentai here? If its not then i do know what genres are allowed? e.g. loli(don't like them but sometimes they may say its loli even tho they are not)
2. If it is legal to possess hentai here then is reading it online permissible?
3. How about eroge games?While i was in my home country i really wanted to buy eroges but the impending thought of moving made it not a good idea. So because i have arrived here i would like to know if its allowed to have them.
4.Any more information you guys would like to add?

Their title Starless had censorship on scatology, bestiality and amputation. The story and the sound effects remain but the picture is blurred. Shiny Days had a bit of lolicon removed, and its a shame because I love to hate the protagonist in Shiny (School) Days.
There are community patches that restore these games, so I guess in your situation it might be best to skip on those.
I've thought about booking a shrink to ask them about the legality of hentai, but as it turns out in our country they have to snitch on pedos and put them on a list. I'm not a lolicon but you just have to feel sorry for people with those urges that never act them out.

I'm fairly certain that the only thing in terms of hentai that is illegal in Canada is anything that depicts someone under 18 (one of our competitors prints their hentai in Canada). If you don't want to risk it, you should be fine as long as you don't read loli.

You can't import a hardcore loli bdsm bestiality snuff book, but you can buy the regular stuff no problem. I've seen a few fellow Canadian Readers buy books with generally no problem(just import fees and crap)
For just viewing online, your not going to get into trouble. We don't have an NSA watching for people who google loli. While not my fetish, I read loli and bestiality(monster rape is more my thing) and I've never gotten into any kind of trouble or watch list.

Hi - Just wanted to clarify: viewing stuff online isnt illegal in Canada but downloading it is (Like hardcore or w/e that's illegal)?
If I just subscribe to FAKKU and view (not download) will I get in trouble cuz I was planning on using a credit card

If it illegal to own then it's still illegal to view if there no extra words in the law explicitly said online, digital or some other terms. Plus your online viewing still downloads the pictures/text/steaming files/ect in the temporary folder of your computer and your cache for your browser.
That all dependent to what your settings are for that browser. Still in any form you still do dl the photos, ect, but after you close your browser it deletes that cache or contents. Even in private mode or incognito.

What freaky said is right. You "can" get in trouble for viewing/having it on your computer if it's illegal, but with our Privacy laws, Unless a cop walks behind you when your viewing it, that ain't happining.
As for a subscription of Fakku! your all good. Fakku! as an American based company has to follow American Laws regarding porn and such (no guro, bestiality, etc). Canada pretty much has the exact same laws. So if it's good for America, it's Good For Canada.
If you still are uncertain, just get a prepaid vanilla mastercard.

Not a great idea to read hentai on your phone.
Original topic: From what Ive been told anything underage is strictly illegal and that's province by province(as they have different ages of consent), so unless that's changed or become a federal matter you should be fine. Things that don't expressly mention a girl's age are a grey area so it might be best to err on the side of caution and stay away from anything that appears per-pubescent(loli).
