thats just sad. PETA now thinks they can use hot women to get peopel to stop eating meat? how dumb do they think people are? i mean really, its one thing to not eat meat, but another to try and manipulate people to your cause. thats why i do not only dislike PEAT, but hate them.
humans are omnivorous by nature, we can eat various things because that is how we are. rabbits and deer are herbivores because meat does not sustain them, nor can they eat it. Bears are omnivorous because they eat not only meat, but many other things. tryint to get rid of meat in of itself fro mthe human food chain, is like trying to get rid of a major component like our ability to think. meat=protein. protein=a better body, and a smarter brain.

i watched the whole thing. i was surprised, but not really affected. it's vegetarians' choice. i'm not saying it's stupid, but i just don't follow it. i love meat. chicken especially. chicken is awesome!
and yes i agree with rbz. they should be able to make whatever documentaries they want.
but PETA does get too extreme at times :?
A lot of these documentaries about how animals are treated at the expense of our eating convenience are nothing new. These instances have gone down as far as our history goes, but these documentaries help us get a little perspective on our still unperfect human nature and how we should treat animals like civilized people even if we're going to kill them for food.
But PETA... those guys do not make the best documentaries for watching. Theirs are like the "better" but not the "best". They prefer shocking images, morbidity, surrealness and the usual "oh-this-is-so-bad" fodder for their documentaries, making them somewhat biased and losing the objectivity of their documentary. As if they aren't too biased already. I mean, I can't make children watch PETA documentaries without them getting sick by watching it.
I still eat meat. It's a basic dietary source of nutrients I need for daily consumption. Even if PETA shows these ads on TV, I'll just shrug it off like dust.
PETA and CCF are both lobbies and their opinions are all black or white. I won't fool myself by taking the arguments of one or another too seriously.
By the way I don't eat red meat so I'm all on the grey line.
BTW, aren't livestock are also grazed outside? Maybe, just modern farms makes the cows stay on a narrow location. Traditional animal farming barns lets animals go to the space they want.
To an extent, if you let your animals go where ever, they'll eat everything. Then they'll have to find little patches of grass, but that isn't the biggest problem. The problem is rounding them all up since they'll be everywhere. Most farms get the hay from a supplier, and just lay the barrels out or place them in bins for their cows. Hay isn't expensive, it's just grass after all.
I've just watched the better sex video. It's the most essential for meat abstination, in might get the male get less muscle however. Too racy, nah aren't there already many buxom babes in bikini on tv already like on gangsta rap music videos? Rice though, the most is well known to be fattening but it ain't meat.
I just watched maybe about half of the documentary and I don't think I'll ever want to watch another one by PETA
They word things so that everything sounds so cruel and they hide a few things and don't seem to really give suggestions on how else things should be done.
I especially noticed in the cattle part that they don't explain what will happen if you don't take the horns off (just think what horns are used for). Also they say that the cattle are tormented by electric prods but in reality would other options such as striking them with rods be much better.
Aren't slaughter houses doing a quick slash to the head? Eating and violence to animals is rude but what can we do about the lions clawing and tearing elephants? I step on cockroaches like they're insects. Especially, the most rude are whales, they kinda sip alot of fishes to their mouth. We could just reduce the sadism.
Sure we can save the animals lets just switch to a different form of meat.
lol but seriously whales rnt the best sub cus three things
1. theyre hard to find
2. takes too long to repopulate
3. probably tastes like chicken not beef lol
