North Korea and South Korea.
I'm Korean and man, you should read some of the articles on korean websites.
Ex:
1. A South Korean tourist (40s, female) was touring on the border of North and South Korea, and she was just taking a stroll. But at this place, there was no fence, but just a big sand hill that marked the border, and she just went up the hill and to the North Korean side without knowing. Then, she finally realized and tried to get out of North Korea as fast as she can. Two North Korean guards saw her running away from North Korea, and instantly shoots her with AK-47s, one bullet going through her chest, and one bullet through the head.
2. The ship sinking thing iast said.
North Korea is just picking fights with South Korea, and South Korea is basically preparing for the worst.
I'm not sure what they've been writing but I'm sure the media is blowing it out of proportion.
That tourist should have known that NK and SK are still at war, yes the war is still on going there has been no peace treaty only a truce.
Touring a known war zone and an area of contention was at her own risk she should have paid more attention to where she was walking: why the hell was she not escorted?
NK is just saber rattling what they're basicly doing is going: "HEY GAIZ IM STILL RELEVANT LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME!!!!!111!!!!".
NK with the world's third largest artillery force most of it aimed at Seoul and the outlaying cities SK has a lot to lose if it commits to a full on confrontation with NK.
The recent joint exercises with the US forces was basicly more saber rattling otherwise known as a show of force a simple tactic of intimidation and saying to NK that 'we have the bigger stick so fuck off'.
