Nitpicking for image categories

So I was wandering through my Yuri pics awhile ago, and I noticed that several of the girls had received cum shots or were waiting for or even in action with a male partner. Am I complaining? No... ok, maybe a bit; but it is for a reason!

I hope to give back to this awesome site by starting to make some archives of my images and a few threads that I've randomly decided that I just love. Ok, I'm a cheap and somewhat crazy bastard and some of them are fairly short threads; but I need to start somewhere, right?

So here is the point of the discussion: How much should one nitpick a sorted collection? Ok, I'll also admit that this is a bit of me thinking out loud.

I ask because I can get a bit bitchy when I go through things short on sleep (which I tend to be) and I tend to try a little too much for "perfection". How stringent should I be in picking through images for a selection? For example, using the first paragraph as an example I would move images that hint/imply/show male presence into another location.

What about you guys? When making an archive or just for personal sorting preference, how in depth do you sort your images?

I'm not terribly specific. Then again when it comes to saving images for a hentai collection I almost always only save uncensored images, so it is in part of a broader category of its own. I do often have a subsection for watersports though. Other than that, I'm not at all methodical with my sorting of hentai images.

I suppose it all depends how severe your OCD is. or how bored you are.

[font=Verdana][color=green]It all depends on the person sorting it, I'm afraid. I, personally, like to cross-reference my collection. But, that's just me. Some people might find that too much; others not enough. Just think of some categories on the top of your head, and go from there.

This. It depends how much the person want to be neat about it; Keeping it in organized in categories and the such.

It's not so much OCD as I sometimes wonder about this stuff. I don't have a broad knowledge of most series that are unreleased in the states unfortunately, but as far as image content I always have that nagging feeling. Part of me wants everything nice and organized so that I can share things easier, but the rest of me wants everything together so I can randomly go through it when browsing for pleasure.

Choices, choices... At any rate, thanks for the input. I may just have to double up on my images. One set (semi)organized, one set (semi)randomized.

Since some catagories blur into one another, and usually I dont care what catagories stuff are in once im 'finished', ive just got my basic images sorted into 3 catagores. Censored, Uncensored and Softcore (etchi).
My doujinshi is sorted by series and/or artist depending how much I like the work.
Usually after huge sessions online of finding new content its all just sitting there in My Pictures so I like broad catagory outlines so I can sort it faster.
I do agree with that feeling of having everything organised though :)
