North American Union?!

Alright, I realize I don't post much, but I still read... somewhat. heh.
Anyway, this movie was posted on another forum I'm part of and I'd just like to see what kind of oppinions come from an anime/hentai community about it. It's pretty serious stuff about our current religious and world state.
Also, sorry if this has been posted already, I can't seem to find a forum search thingy, so just bitch at me if it has =3.

Yeah I've seen it. It's not bad but I think it's a little over the top. You've got to have a lot of evidence to say that all wars are caused for profit. It also takes a lot of balls to say that religion was only created to control people. Religion started off with good intentions, some people just abuse it by using it as an excuse to cause death and destruction.

Yeah these movies are build on emotion. Assuming something doesn't really make it true.

It seems like the guy did a lot of research on this though. Also, although I don't agree or disagree with some of the stuff here, I still think we have to watch for this, and not just become zombies for higher people to control. /shrug

There are documentaries and "Schockumentaries". This is the latter. While they have to state things that are true and cite facts, the point of it is to cause a strong reaction by presenting the facts in a way that makes what the author of the movie claims seem true and ommitting, rather than addressing, many counter arguments. As for the facts, the wilder the better. In this case, one eccentric example serves the movie better than actual statistics and such, even when those are used also.

I found this movie hilarious. The creator and I think alike.

I personally don't go for these kind of movies, I take a neutral stance all the time.

As long as hentai, anime, computer games and people exist, the world can go however it likes. :)
