possibilities on time traveling

I've just heard some rumor. It's say there is a person from 2030 came to USA to teach how to make time machine. More, that person says that he came from another dimension of ours. exam: A have B as A's son in . B became some high status person in 2030. If C (from 2030) come to present of our time to kill A and It is succeed,B status in 2030 will not change.

How's that? Personally,i think it's just bullshit.
First of all,Is the person really appears in USA now?

I think that the 2030 guy is shit, but time-travel is possible. But still you can't change your history.

I left the 1% for error. I mean it is possible in some sense but I highly doubt it. I mean 2030 is way too soon for something like to be possible for us anyway.

I personally don't believe if there's a time-traveler or some guy from future came to this time.

Regarding the theories, I think there's a possibility to change the history. but we'll only know whether that theory is right or not after we got our hands on time travel though.

Well, the general consensus from most of what I've read, is that is it possible. But even if we mastered it, and went back in time, we'd end up in a parallel universe (read: Multiverse Theory) of our own. So while it'd appear mostly similar, we'd be going back into the future in that universe, and thus wouldn't be changing anything in our own timeline.

Regardless, I find this sort of stuff fascinating, I love reading up on it. Especially that multiverse theory.

It'll basically become another war tactic. Go back in time and kill so-and-so before he does whatever.

Some theories say that you can't travel back in time to before the machine was created. So, even if the machine is invented in 2030, he couldn't have traveled to 2009 since we don't have it. That guy is full of bullshit.

I believe it is impossible to go back in time. It is something we just cannot change.
Besides, if we were to go back, we'd just get into an endless cirkel. why?

Speed 1000 is required to travel back, you reach it, you go back to 999 which is not enough, but your acceleration pushes you back into 1000. Endless cycle.

Of course this is all speculation, after all, one cannot know these things for certain.

Well, I dont remember where I see it but Albert Einstein said it is not possible to do time travel. But it is possible to see the future (only see though)

Time travel would be cool if we had it. And besides, if this 2030 guy is telling the truth why would he come to 2009? If he is trying to fix something, I think he needs to travel back by about another ten years. I know there is a chance that the problem may have yet to occur, but it does not matter because this guy is full of crap.
