[Locked] Reading or watching hentai with loli/loli-looking characters

Just viewing it online. No downloading or anything. Is this legal or not? I know this is a murky discussion and the laws aren't too specific, but I mean, this must be somewhat clear. If it's something you can get in trouble for/is not allowed, I won't do it. If it's not crime-worthy like it would be with real people (as they are drawings) then I'd view it.

I know people have very different opinions about this, and I don't want to start any sort of opinion war, I just want to know whether this is an option or not.

And then I guess a less important question would be how legal is it to download that stuff, and how legal is downloading cute pettanko/close to loli girls from, say, 4chan or somewhere

This has been really bothering me, just want to hear "its fine, they're just drawings" or even "it's illegal, don't do it or you'll get in trouble", any sort of definite answer would be great, all these maybes are just keeping me on the fence

If they are under age than yes I believe that it's illegal. If they only look under age then no it shouldn't be. It's the same as looking at RL pictures of underage girls and going to sites veiwing underage girls.

And sorry, I checked a few other threads but they were a few years old and didn't have any decisive answer

So it is just as legally bad as with real people?

EDIT: And also about those ecchi pictures, downloading them, a lot of them you really can't tell their ages, so how would that be? Somehow I can't see that being that bad considering how easy it is to just search google images for them and really how many are posted each day, but I could be wrong
