Should media literacy be a standard course for all students?

Those kids who started that party were idiots to me. You should never re-enact something from a movie that has a negative outlook on its shoulders. Plus kids these days from what I've seen, don't know what to tell from fake to real these days. So to be precise, the media shows what they want to show to get higher ratings, while the next generation of people see this and don't use their common sense to help them out in thinking if this was a good or bad idea.
