[size=10]Ah, so overall it seems most of you agree that if there is little to zero hope, a person shouldn't be kept alive for long; especially if it's a financial strain.
It also seems most of you would rather die if you see that there isn't much hope for you and that recovery isn't so likely. I would and I believe that the choice of death makes most sense in that situation.
But at the same time, some of you gave some pretty good reasons to avoid pulling the plug so soon:
The chance of waking up
The whole emotional deal
Prolonging what could be a precious life
Doing something creative like writing a book
The chance of doing
something that makes life worth living
And the list can go on...
Again, thank you all for your opinions. I really do appreciate the time and effort put into them. I'd reply to each and everyone of them individually, but then I'd pretty much be repeating myself since we all seem to have common beliefs and ideas on the topic.
That said, I suppose the thread can die down now.
