maybe this will help...
my boyfriend was totally into anime before he and i got together. i was really into foreign films. we made this agreement to watch each others stuff. i started to get into adult swim's anime (an easy start for me). after awhile I was hooked. after i got comfortable with those shows, we started watching online anime... then, late at night... he switched to hentai. while we were watching on the notebook, he started to kiss my neck and BAM, me = in the mood. since then, i watch hentai to get a good one to surprise him with. just a couple of months ago things got kinda stale... then you guys helped me get the idea of cosplay... and BINGO... it's all hot and stuff. granted, he still indulges with me with some foreign flicks (no chick flicks, i hate that sappy bs) but i've let in anime and haven't been the same!
so my point is... bring it in slow, and at the right moment.
