Stop the Internet "Blacklist" Legislation ('S.O.P.A.' bill)

If SOPA were to pass, many smaller but famous sites would definitely be in danger of being shutdown. I have hopes however that SOPA won't be passed as it is now; considering that the bill is up againts internet titans such as Google, Mozilla, Yahoo, Twitter, Facebook etc. and millions upon millions of dollars going towards lobbying against it. If you didn't know, the White House pronounced itself against SOPA and the Protect IP Act recently, quoting in loose paraphrasing that the bill is far too vague and would definitely have a very negative effect on e-business and commerce the world over. In most likelyhood, even if the bill were to get pass voting, I'd probably be vetoed by the president.

I doubt however that it will be the last time the internet will face such a crisis. Sometime in the coming years a similar or perhaps even stupider legislation will try to be passed, so in retrospect, this is when all netizens must unite and stand together against idiots who wish to silence and regulate anything and everything that they can't control, as cliché as it sounds.

for more information. basically, SOPA would take down any site that even references copyrighted material in the context of how to acquire it for free. this means that: 4CHAN, HONGFIRE, FAKKU, DANBOORU, GELBOORU, TOSHI2CHAN, MANGATRADERS, NIHONOMARU, ANIMESENSHI, ANIME-TAKE, MANGAFOX, BATOTO, AND EVERY SINGLE SCANLATING OR TRANSLATING SITE THAT CURRENTLY EXISTS would simply be wiped from existence, all to protect corporate profit margins. its not that we're stealing anything from them, oh no. after all, the definition of theft is "the taking of something without permission with the result of permanently depriving its previous owner of it". you cannot permanently steal a piece of digital data, only copy it. therefore, it is not stealing, merely "getting for free what you would pay out the ass for otherwise". So what we at Fakku!--and every other site that hosts material that other people pay for--are doing is, in fact, taking away from the PROJECTIONS of how much companies THINK they'll make. in effect, SOPA is kinda like the corporations and their lackeys saying

"waaaaahhhh, we didn't make all the money we think we have a right to earn! waaaahhhh!....wait? there's some good and honest people preventing us from making our millions of dollars so we can buy corporate jets and our gold plated toilets? KILL THEM ALL! RAPE THEIR WIVES! BURN! PILLAGE! TAKE AWAY ANYTHING THAT GIVES THEM SATISFACTION IN THIS WORLD!"

Regardless of whatever you read, Vanilla, NTR, rape hentai on this site freedom of Expression is being threatened by so called good purposes to combat internet piracy. This isn't about Americans its also about anybody here on this and in this world that lives in a democratic society. SOPA and PIPA (Senate Version of SOPA)will censor the net and without any support to combat these laws and show our opposition to these bills we are giving the government to censor the net and arrest anybody that may upload content.
