I know this is Kind of Late in the game But;
For the most part "Surviving" and "Nuclear Aftermath" Are Mutually exclusive terms.
Read up on the history of the very few survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Did you know that wild boars in Germany now have toxic adiation levels that are so high they are not edible. According to the research I have been able to read. This condition, if you will, is a direct result of the Chernobyl incident. andis passed on to the next generation, Wild Boar Meat in Germany must be tested for radiation before it is allowed to be sold.
The few brave souls that ignored this are now just that "souls" or well on their way to becoming one.
No one would out live the Half Life of the contamination and, in all likelihood, any food be it animal or vegetable would also be inedible
So, Let us all hope or pray (whichever system to which you subscribe) That it never happens

Tbh Chernobyl fallout and nuclear explosion fallout are two different things entirely.
Most air burst nukes don't dump fallout like the Hiroshima bomb did, most of it is sent up into the upper atmosphere, though I wouldn't recommend walking around outside without a gasmask.
'Surviving' a nuclear holocaust would depend on how far away you were from the blast, also how prepared your bunker was, what type of bomb that was dropped and how many.
I reckon a month's worth of supplies (both food and water), weapons (crossbow or gun whatever you're good with and can get your hands on), and most importantly a Radio and other essentials.
More important is how well constructed your bunker is wither it has filtering for your air vents, power, a water source as you will most likely will have to live in it for a while.
Look up the 1950s era survival guides they pretty much outline what you need to survive a nuclear war of course modify where appropriate.
