Just curious.
Do people honestly believe that the Syrian government is roaming the streets with tanks, and just shooting indiscriminately at houses of innocent people?
I mean, sure, Assad is a bit of a crazy, anti-Semitic guy, but killing innocent citizens!? REALLY!? Do people REALLY believe he's actually driving tanks and indiscriminately blowing up houses!?

Yes, because his own citizens have been uploading footage of it.Yes it can't be verified right now, but that is because Asad won't let in any journalists to report on the situation...which is not the behavior of a innocent leader.

It might not be that clear-cut, but as BJ said, there is sure something going out.

Their civil war seems more like it's a covert war between the US and Iran. The rebels are fucking with the number of casualties just like Assad. I believe it was on an article on RT that talked about that.

I read Assad is ready to use Chemical Warfare on his own people. Chemical weapons were banned during the at the Geneva Protocol. I know the U.N. won't take it if he does use it, but Russia and China are still backing Syria, which is quite a problem for any of the U.N. to retaliate against such possible use.

I live nearby the syrian borders , and I see lot of them telling horrifying stories

and he thinks that all of his people are his slaves

The Red Cross classifies it officially as a civil war, now U.N. and other countries can send aid, I belive eventually that prez will step down or die trying to hold on to power. He's not gonna let himself get captured because he's killed to many of his own people to get a fair trial. To late to volountarily step down now.
