The Mormon world is shattered.....This is not a joke.

This I think to be a serious thing to post about. I am Mormon and I feel like telling the viewers this. The Gordon B. Hinkley died today 7pm this evening 1/27/08 in Salt Lake city, Utah. He was the Fifteenth prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Born June 23, 1910 he was 97 old when he died. He lived a long and full life nearly devoted fully to leading and helping people. I don't expect anybody to post I'm only here to in form and that is all.

Damn, I knew I should've went to the fireside, even though I didn't have to. They said they had something important to announce. As they say in church, the spirit works in mysterious ways.

That is true, the spirit does work in mysterious ways. It was also for the best seeing as though he was very old.

I seriously thought he'd be the last one, cause, you know that primary song about the Latter Day Prophets, now that he's gone, and when we'll ordain a new prophet, then that song becomes obsolete. Well, I'm glad to know there's another Mormon on Fakku that doesn't stain the religion, well, more than they already have (what with the pornographic material and all).

I'm not a Mormon, I'm more spiritual than religious, but I do believe that there are sufficient truths in any system of beliefs that work to help others. My condolences for the loss to your community.

Aren't mormon super strict about the bible... how could you possibly be a mormon if you are on FAKKU, wouldn't this mean that you masturbate... what happened to thou shalt no spill thy seed or something... is this discussion serious or are you making fun of mormons... i really don't understand...

I'm so sorry! I was just so thrown off because whenever I hear of mormons i picture an excessively happy person with a shirt tie and bible in their right hand... i never actually thought they were normal people...

Its okay..apology accepted. Try not to have stereotypical Ideas about other peoples religions, backrounds, etc. I try not to do this but it happens. In the case of Scientology your not a religion just a Pseudo Nazi Science.
