I stopped watching the news, it was mostly stuff I did not care about or was depressing and I could do little about.
I get my information from various other systems now.
But the news station I still listen to from time to time is NPR who, if nothing else, are dedicated to doing a good job as journalists with integrity rather than something else.
The last news station I watched with any lack of feeling smothered by slime was the BBC. The BBC being, as a comedian pointed out, "The only news station able to make any horrible event sound... ok."
"Satan has returned to earth and is eating babies as we speak. The apocalypse is nigh. We are all in for a six thousand years of hell on earth and everyone is dooooooooomed. Coming up, the world cup update."
As a note, a lot of the bias can come less from the commentary and more from what they refuse to comment about as opposed to other things. Hence I do not think CNN to be very unbiased.
Another note, I very much enjoy independant documentary makes. and Current plays alot of that.
Chris Titus said that I think.
