Lol, the weirdest question I've seen. Atoms do not consists mainly of empty space, it's just that for the system to be stable, given the values of the forces involved, it needs to take up a lot of space. The existence of it's constituents are very solid.
Or to put it in simpler terms, mainly empty space is not the same as empty space.
