To put in perspective, if its possible, then at some point in our lives, we might have crossed one of this so called dimensions. Now, most argue that its just a concept of infinite possibilities. Varying outcomes bought from the previous one. But as we only know our own " world " its not easily explainable. Now a parallel world is a totally different concept, where if you chose one path, your opposite chose the opposite. Time in its context, is a measuring system of a sequence of events. Antiphon the Sophist stated " Time is not a reality, but a concept or measure." Any change could lead to a paradox. ie aforementioned as you have stated, " different dimensions " a time trip to say.
You could also say that our lives is like a decision making game. we could also include that we may go to a 'bad ending' if we choose the wrong action
Good insight. But here's my take on that. If you viewed all varying possibilites like a decision game, then most of us would have chose something that would fulfill our daily lives. But that is not the case. Are you speaking of " No good deed goes unpunished " or " Every dog has his day " ? This are irrelevant to time theory. This is more like the lines of "Is there fate "? Life has its cons and pros. Time is not a varying control factor. The word " time" was created as a terms to define events, birth, death. The fact that we are hypothesising parallel worlds, is still a mystery to me.
yes. some instance of this for example. 'i may not be born' 'i was born as a boy' 'i was born as a girl' or 'i didn't really need to exist'. But if thats the case. you may have altered the flow of time.
another weird thing of the mystery of time is Deja Vu,
this may be caused by someone directly associated with you, that tried to change the flow of time... like in 'ENDLESS EIGHT' of Suzumiya Haruhi no yuutsu, there may be some vital hints on how to understand the concept of time
