I dont think that he cans do situps to 295lb. He's better with walking and light jogging (fast walking).
Dont do exercise that need power, because it doesn't burn fat and you're going to increase your muscle and add weight on your spinal.
You must do exercise that last 20min minimum with moderate intensity.
