[Locked] What are your Beliefs?

I'd like to ask as many people as possible to just lay down on the table of your beliefs, religion, etc.

Just so I can grab a taste on what you guys put your faith in or whatever the case may be. I'm curious.

I try to only believe in scientific truths, meaning i don't hold or have any religious beliefs, i don't believe anything in faith, i am sceptical of everything within reason.

Thanks Final Boss and also Coconut I feel sometimes that way too, that I can be doubtful of any belief or anything at all to be exact and I usually question everything until it doesn't unsettle me anymore.

I believe a wide range of things, such as the existence of souls, and things that may or not be ever be provable. Although I think rules of gravity are fundamental, as known with science until further evidence is found, we should never assume that it is fact. I would say ghosts while probably just people's paranoia, maybe such things exist. However I am not one to believe something like Bigfoot, even though there may really be a forest dwelling gorilla like animal, I won't support it, even if I think the Loch Ness Monster is a dinosaur that lives relatively close to people. So if asked about what my beliefs are, they might be too varied or contradictory to say, but if interested I will say more.

I don't even know anymore. One day, I'm christian, the other day it is fuck it.

My beliefs are contradictory (if you want to reduce beliefs down to a science vs religion type deal) but to me they make sense, which is all that matters I guess.

I believe that everything, the universe and all life is a part of one great cosmic coincidence. No great deity or deities to craft out and control everything.
I believe that all complex living things have souls.
I believe in an end of time/world/universe, but it's not a final event like heaven or the heat death of the universe or anything like that. More of a cycle of rebirth of the universe. Everything plays out in the universe as per normal to the heat death theory but it doesn't stop there. All of the souls over the course of the universe are brought together along with a universal collapse. Everything gets compressed and forms a singularity. All matter and souls gets reassembled and recombined in this event. All the laws of the universe, all of the forms of matter, everything gets redefined by the combined experiences of all the souls that ever were. You could almost call it a dreamlike creation of everything. And then another "Big Bang" occurs, causing the cycle to continue in a new and refreshed way.
