[Locked] What do you think is causing these global floods and quakes?

I think its terrifying what if the earth can't sustain itself for much longer;
and we all die!

I'm not saying what date no one can predict that, i'm trying to find a scientific cause for all these natural disasters, happening more frequently now then ever before. (recorded 100 earthquakes+ in 2011) Is this the beginning of the end, nature taking care of overpopulation, a new world order machine, the last days of prophecy(Mayan calendar), or something else entirely?

Is this the end? What are causing these quakes and floods? What do you think?

Well, all I can say is: earthquakes have existed since the earth has, and their frequency has varied with the ages.

So no, there is no reason for quakes to "destroy the earth" on a whim, like "hey, today I feel swell, lets destroy Japan in one go!"

Earthquakes are happenning everywhere and all the time.
And its not 100+ in 2011, its over a thousand, maybe more, couldn't find a more precise figure. The hundred plus must be those above a certain magnitude.
