What is your typical view on FRENCH ?

I've heard that many British had Houses in some lost places of France, I don't understand why the French hate this sort of place (maybe that's why English love, it there less French to deal with). I think that most of the tension between the different nation don't come the nation themselves but of what they think of the other. Most of the people are uneasy with what they don't know so they imagine what it could be like and such predicament lead to misunderstanding then to hate.

By the way Napoleon is Corsican AND Corsica is a part of France so Napoleon was indeed French.
