Why do you enjoy Hentai?

This is something that I've been thinking about for about a week now, after an argument on the matter with my father, and I don't have an answer.

So, I turn to one of the best places I could think of.

I ask you, Fakku. All of you. Why do you enjoy hentai?

Not why your friends do. Not why that random guy on the forums does. Why do YOU enjoy it?

Any and all comments are welcome. I'm hoping to amass enough information to actually write some kind of report on it and use it as the basis for an argument for why Hentai isn't "Just cartoon porn, right? Why the hell would you fap to that?"

Hm... I guess one of the reason I enjoy it is storyline (I'm just talking about doujins here)
With "normal" porn, there storylines are.... well crap to be honest.
Most follow the track of;
[Attractive women sitting of sofa]
[Dramatic event (I use the term dramatic extremely lightly)]
[Man enters]
[Heartfelt conversation (Once again, Heartfelt is used extremely lightly)]
[Schmecks]
[Repeat with different women on different coloured sofa and different man]

But with doujins they have a far better, possibly believable storyline Some give a background of the characters so that you can understand there current situations.
Plus also, it's very satisfying to see an anime character you know (and possible love) in their birthday suit "getting down with it", if you catch my drift.

Short Answer: It's just porn that's better quality (most of the time) than regular porn.

Long Answer: It often will have storylines that make the content more enjoyable. By this, I mean that it's more erotic to have people having sex in a more natural situation that what standard porn offers, which is pretty much: "Hi I'm..." "Yeah that's nice, sex now." Also I find the variety of types of women/situations is better since there's no limit to what someone can draw (well ok, I'M limited to stick figures and not good ones at that but, you get what I mean) while there is a limit to the situations standard porn has to offer due to things like budget, them not caring, the actors that actually work in that field, etc. Also some of the things in hentai on occasion aren't possible or at least incredibly unlikely but, are still erotic and I'd be missing out on all that good stuff. Also, as often as not hentai is funny (and not funny like, hahaha that sucks) and this doesn't break the mood, while in standard porn most of the times they try this it doesn't work out so well, probably because they have no storyline. I've even found on a rare occasion some hentai that are rather romantic or make you think. Also as Mattarat said, I like anime and manga and while I know it would (generally) fuck up the stories if characters where running around having sex for whatever reason, I still enjoy seeing it because I like these characters already and don't get to see these (potential) sides to them in their usual context.

Why bother to read books when you can watch movies?

You can't make real porn which features in-depth storylines and characters like in hentai.

For example, imagine Haruhi molesting Mikuru played by some pornstars. Impossible.

the reason I believe fap to hentai is because im attracted to the innocence so commonly portrayed by the girls. Who could resist cute,innocent and puppy eyed girls sitting half naked on your bed with that "come get me " pout on their faces?

I also prefer doujin over hentai movies/clips because some artists can create perfect moments in the pictures.Sometimes you dont even get perfect moments in the clips itself. I dont really know how to describe it but all I can say its the pict that could get ya cummin anytime, and everytime you see it. :twisted:

...AND for other reasons haha ;). One would be that I honestly find most anime girls to be attractive. Sure they are just drawings but that doesn't stop me from saying, "Damn she's hot." or something. And when you watch an anime you know you get perverted thoughts in your head. So with doujins it's like seeing your favorite actors do the shit you can only imagine. For example say you're watching Pirates of the Caribbean and you're just hoping Keira Knightly gets plowed but you know it's not gonna happen, but oh wait I forgot I'm not watching the movie I'm reading a doujin from FAKKU and she most definitely will. Just with anime, instead of real actors/actresses. I guess that's why I like it but I'm probably just a pervert!

Easy cuz i find real porn to be more revolting while hentai on the opposite.

Hentai has infinite possibilites for stimulating the human mind in terms of fantasy. Of course, pron caters to one's fantasies too, but the laws of reality prevents it from going further. Examples include tentacles, schoolgirls with extremely huge bust sizes, etc.

Personally, I enjoy hentai because it has something for me regardless of my mood at that particular moment.

As strange as it may sound, I mainly enjoy hentai (specifically doujin/h-games) for both its storyline and artwork - the sex is just the icing on top as long as the main heroine has both a compelling backstory and is very easy on the eyes....

Okay, strange tid-bit about me, but since everyone has opened up on here, so shall I.

I used to be addicted to porn, in a way. I guess a better way to put it is I'm a voyeur. When I met my boy, he turned me on to anime... then hentai. Hentai is the perfect form of voyeurism. It opens up the box of my secret desires... what makes me all in it. Watching porn now just seems... fake. All it is fuck, fuck, fuck, then MONEY SHOT! With hentai, you get into the story. I feel innocent, I feel vunerable. I watch it and want someone to do that to me. Okay, embarrasing part... :oops: Fapping is a big part of my world as a woman. While watching porn, that just got me in the mood, then I had to leave the rest to my imagination. With hentai, I'll be sitting in bed, watching it... and i start to feel, well, wet. It just happens. It's addicting, the feeling.

As I've already said to much... that's my reasoning.
