Seriously speaking, Americans piss me off, and I'm an American. A lot of stupidity goes on in this country
As a fellow American, I agree with you. Too much stupid shit goes on in this country, to the point where I don't even affiliate with a political party anymore because everyone has some bat-shit crazy ulterior motive to their fuckin' agenda.

I'd say American seems crazy because it doesn't prevent the crazy people from having their voices heard. Freedom of Speech is abused like you cannot possibly imagine.
Yep, but you know how it goes. Even though the abusive ignorants are by far the minority (I think), they have the loudest voice.
There are still many governments in the world that consider it a crime to speak out against the government.
That I find fault with. I think it's good that Americans are allowed to speak ill of the government. The problem is that words never solved anything, action does, which is what's lacking in this horribly dysfunctional country. Not advocating extremist action, though, that never did anyone much good.
It's just statistics. You have a sample of three hundred million people, and if three thousand start saying crazy things, it seems like a lot, when in fact it's only a thousandth of one percent of the people.
As said above. They have the loudest voice. So they're heard the most. And in comes the media to throw everything out of proportion as if on cue.
Referring to two posts above me...America has never been weaker in recent memory. Struggling economy (though Europe's worse), seemingly indecisive about foreign policy in the Middle East and North Korea, letting North Korea push you around, threatened by China for control of the waters in Southeast Asia, immigration problems that people demand be solved and yet when a solution is offered the people cry invasion of privacy, etc.
Yes, it's rather confusing as to why we can't take a solid stance on ANYTHING these days.
