work for the FBI

before I start I should clarify that this is not an admission that I work for the FBI, I do not.
What happened to cause this topic is that I recently had a conversation with my parents, and my mother mentioned that she had a discussion with a friend, one who apparently works for the government. According to her when the subject of myself came up, he had apparently said that I should work for the FBI (apparently I fit some sort of profile that he recognized by my description). Well I dismissed it at the time, but the Idea keeps running through my head, and I've got to admit that it's sounding more and more attractive. I don't live in the US so I don't really know what the FBI can personally do. But working for the FBI sounds like hardwork everyday and less time to spend with family, friends and stuff (please don't seriously listen to this since i'm deriving this from movies^^). But I guess it's not bad to try eh?

well, my understanding of it is that FBI handles internal affairs, stuff inside the country, and the CIA works in matters concerning other countries.



My grandfather was a marine, a Marine Raider during WWII. From what he told me it's pretty intense.

What type of work do you think you're going to be doing?

I dunno. I took a look at some of the mock exams for becoming a special agent. I do need to get into better shape first.

lol have fun with that it is a painful experience I am still in that phase and wow does it suck. I ran so fucking much that now the bone in my left leg is all fucked up that even when i stand it hurts like hell and i still have to run those miles and wow does it hurt

you may need to get a brace for that leg if that's the case.
but I've got four years of college left before I have to worry.

What are the mock exams like, lemiel?

they were kinda like the SAT's. They had a few sample questions on the site and I found another set of mock test through google. you'll find more on the FBI's homepage under "apply for a job"
of course, I just took the tests for fun. need another 4 years of college and a degree before I can actually apply.

I'd give you this advice: if you want to work for the FBI, make sure you pick an applicable major. Physical sciences and criminal psychology are good, and they might want language specialists/foreign studies, but that is often more the domain of the CIA and NSA. Math is the NSA's area.

Because when you are a marine! You go out there disembowel someone and weave a basket out of their entrails while screaming the lyrics to "Halls Of Montezuma" while you do it! Then you get drunk, have sex with 50 women then go to sleep, get up and do it again tomorrow!

That's why its better to be a marine rather than some Agent Smith wannabe! Semper Motherfucking Fidelis!
