All of you who do cross country are insane to me! Even though I'm literally ALWAYS working out, whether I be at home, work, or the gym..well, there isn't much of a difference between all of those anyway! They're all health related. Though, cross country is INSANITY. You seriously need some good endurance for that.
I remember running with a member of the Cross Country team back in my freshman year in highschool, we went 5 miles in 35 minutes and nearly died from exhaustion, after we regained ourselves, my friend and I just started laughing hysterically, drool still dripping out of our mouths. I never ran like that again, he did it his entire Cross Country career in highschool.
Btw, you wouldn't happen to live in the Dallas Metroplex would you? I've been needing a trainer for my job, and I don't know when my next real chance will come, so I could always use the time to improve myself.
