I dont contribute shit but then again... I wouldnt even know HOW to f*cking start contributing in a good way.

I have no knowledge to contribute but on the flip side I wont demand anything either because again I lack knowledge.

Looking at threads like these sure makes one feel downright useless.

I've joined Fakku because i was surpirsed at the number of intellectucals on which is surprisingly on an adult site. I was "leeching" on for a while till i stumbled on the forums. I take this opportunityt to thank for all FAKKU uploaders, admins etc who brings us free hentai regularly.

I wish to contribute more by uploading some hentai myself but dont know how to upload em. It would be great if you can tell me.

haha that's funny but hey this site is for hentai so when they do that they aren't really going against any rules here if we really have any strict ones. so unless their complete asses on the threads i think we should just let do what they want and we can choose to help or not.

I don't contribute a whole lot myself. I upload a couple of ecchi pictures here and there though. I personally don't like flat out hentai pictures. I don't find them as aesthetically pleasing.

So, all I've got is the forums, and even then I rarely make a new topic. D;

But at the same time, I don't download anything off of FAKKU either. If I want to read a doujinshi I'll just read it online.

While I don't often post, Fakku has been a great site for me as time has gone on just due to the level of critical thinking that goes on, on some of the more adult topics...

Plus, how awesome is it when you can have an adult conversation about something, then in that same forum, check out the latest hentai vids...

I do understand when hentai communities don't enjoy leechers, but I do understand that some of the younger crowd feels more comfortable with lurking and just getting a good DL here and there. Eventually if the community is good enough (Like here on Fakku) then they will stick around long enough to become active members...



I should say- I would upload if I knew exactly what people didn't have, and I had better understanding of the uploading systems (Megaupload/Rapidshare/Megaporn/etc)...

I think we should put the +10 Rep Rule for Requests... it would end server fail.

Why do we keep having these pointless threads complaining about people doing idiotic things while offering almost zero in terms of constructive ideas? For the most part, if you just ignore idiots, they soon lose their motivation and give up. Attacking idiots can either give validation to them(if they are attention seekers like trolls) or cause them to persist for a sense of vindication or because they feel they have been treated unfairly or overly harshly. The rules clearly indicate the correct and courteous manner to make requests, as well as what kind of things to request. I just ignore stupid requests. Most of the people behind them give up, and if the occasional person is too idiotic and assholish in their requesting, then they will end up banned.

It is possible we could require ten posts as a prerequisite for making requests, but +10 rep seems pretty high. Unless you are a prolific uploader, it's actually pretty hard to get your first ten rep points.

This makes sense to me, because while I have been an active lurker for Fakku for 2 years now, my post count is still abismal. That and I am always an advocate of free hentai for everyone who wants it.

I may not contribute but I will not request at all just to be fair. I got some unique run of the mill porn though which don't belong here

When I say to "contribute" I do consider actively posting in to forums to be a form of contribution. I also don't mind someone posting in the request section and ASKING for someone to upload hentai, even if they never posted content for themselves
However, when someone has only one post, and that one post is their "request" for someone to upload something, that pisses me off. Also when someone demands someone to upload more content

Considering the level of moderation and the people with low rep but high post counts, it would be more sensible to need a certain rep imo; that, and you don't want to tempt people into more spam. I think 5 would be fair - that's going to be more than you would get from a one-off, and rep in general denotes something respectable and worthy of such rewards, whether it's having helped a couple of people or made some good/very amusing posts. As long as you minus rep if they aren't grateful. :P

If they need to get rep before requesting, what kind of rep getting attempt posts will they give. It might give spammers and will make cleaning the forums hard.

Now my idea is, to require a "request form" function that requires a "proposal message" to convince those who'll do the job, so even if they only want to request, they will contribute information that they could afford. And that way, a deserving person can be served and contributed information as well.

However, it will loose charm of this site as seeming dictative, so it may be good just to require a forum and no more request form.

I shouldn't have been told that I won't request for having no upload. I just need to say, I'll propose politely now that I'm currently a gentlepervert.

That's true enough, I suppose.
However, I go through the request forum quite frequently to see if I can help, and my observation is, that all too often neither post count nor rep requirements will help.
What would be needed most often is a basic sense of civility, some english lessons, and a functioning pair of eyes, to put it bluntly.
