...Ono flat out said the new character was someone who had never been in a fighting game. Anyone who wanted R.Mika/Karin/Alex shouldn't have gotten their hopes up.
I'll admit, once I saw the trailer I was like "..The hell?"
After I saw Combofiend run through the character, I was sold. Psycho Stream + Teleports made me a happy man.
The problem with this though was that Capcom hyped her up to be some revolutionary character. If they had revealed her awhile back but shown her gameplay trailer during Final Round I'm sure the backlash wouldn't be this bad.
If people get past her LOOKING like Cammy and notice that she plays completely different from her people will change their opinions. At least SF4's getting updated, which is more than what I can say about UMvC3/Tekken Tag 2(Although in Marvel's case it's completely understandable as to why we're not getting a patch)
Stay free haters.
And while I'm at it, I'm decking all the idiots that wanna replace her with Sean in the face. Replace a clone with another clone? Great fucking idea guys.
Tekken Tag 2 just got a update that rebalanced the game and it was fucking free.
On the flip side, ArcSys came out with Blazblue CS Extend for 40 bucks, one new character and a balance update, and hardly anyone bats an eye at that. Just saying if you're gonna hate on Capcom for not handing out free updates then do it to everyone else who does it but with less content. As for Tekken Tag 2, I thought they just added Dr. B, not balancing? Might have to check on that.
Although I will say by adding in Rolento and Co. they stripped part of what made SFxT worth playing over SF4.
Nah. I heard from Aris that they had a rebalance build of TTT2 at SCR and it coming out literally next week but don't quote me on that because I may be confusing it with SCII.
I'm not gonna blindly hate Capcom like everyone else but I'm not gonna suck their dicks either especially those pieces of shit they called "Balancing SF4" with those three games and "Rebalancing of MvC3."
All I'm seeing with them is some rebalancing and taking away the "SFxT-ness" of the characters. I thought this was lazy on Capcom's part because wouldn't you want to add characters who haven't been a game since I don't know... "Alpha 2-3" into this version? That would make much more hype for the game but instead we're getting "Ultra Swap Palatte 4: Slightly Pissed-Off Cammy Edition."
At least with Arc System, I get a sense of effort and hardwork but from Capcom I only get the sense they are salivating for money and willing to do anything to get it.
