BTW, they have an interview with the producer of AC:AH:
Kind of sad they will be ditching the old world and having everything set in the real world, but still looks like a good game. Now I just need a PS3 or 360, as I've been gaming on my PC for a while now...
I really hope you can turn off those 'press x button' to do this action. Takes the challenge away from playing the game reducing it to a press the win button sort of game.
I don't think that's actually a "press X button" noob-mode, as in previous AC games holding triangle would follow and zoom in on a target, and holding down circle (not just tapping) to fire a missile would show a cool "follow the missile" view until it hit the target. In the trailer, whenever the button is shown on screen, the view changes.
Hopefully it's just a cool camera-view effect and not a "win button".
I'm glad they finally created an Ace Combat game that will port to both the 360 and the PS3. It's always good to see that a game that people enjoy will cater to both the 360 and PS3 community.
This looks pretty sweet. My only gripe about ace combat games is that 3/4 of the maneuvers you are allowed to pull in the game would completely black out any pilot on the face of planet earth....

I sure hope so.
Hope the Idolmaster jets make another cameo I love flying the F-2A with its unpredictable stall characteristics.
I had so much fun when I got the 765 Production A-10 Warthog. The 765 A-10A has some crazy drifting characteristics.
Laugh.
Oh god that plane. Best ground attack jet ever since you could drift slowly and rocket everything into oblivion.
It's a horrible air combatant on ace difficulty compared to the stock version.
I also have a model kit of it sitting on my shelf...
And here's a story trailer, although doesn't tell you much:
And here's a new gameplay/"Meet the Characters" trailer, with 1/4 of the time being a falling bomb:
Not sure if that means you can also pilot bombers too...?
And Namco's having a skin design competition where your own design will be an actual in-game skin for the F-15C:

Hell yeah, thanks for that vid. I'm psyched for this because I didn't care to much for AC6, but this looks good, but it kindda of looks like it went from "flight simulator" to "total arcade"
Now that I think of it again. The helicopters flying probly should be left out, unless you are able to have full control of them like the aircraft of the ace combat series. that guy firing teh mini gun out teh side of the blackhawk. won't cut it, I want full control of teh helicopter and not some AI.
Another thing I see was teh b-2 spirit in the vid above me. I am undecided if flying a bomber will be an okay thing in this new ace combat thing, and the ac-130 guship. it should deffinately be left out of teh series. it is okay in HAWX2 and mondern warfare, and MOH. but hell, idk if I want to be firing form one side of teh ship while risking getting blown out of teh air from teh other side while the AI is flying it and the skies are overrun with baddies. maybe it would be okay if they made it towards where you are piloting the ac-130, but if teh AI is flying it at least 25% of teh time. then hell no.
Well, to repost some stuff before the server reset...
Here's yet another new trailer, with some more gameplay footage... and a release date!
Looks like the game will be out October 11!
And here's a subtitled interview with Project Aces producer "Kono-san" answering questions from the fansite "Ace Combat Skies," although a few of the answers are a bit vague.

Hmm seing from the trailer i would say that the graphics is good and the gameplay would probably also be good but.... don't u feel something lacking from the story? or is it just my own feeling as i am still not used to see Ace Combat not in StrangeReal World anymore.
