Graphics are fine but how well does it play? What is the interface like?
Graphically it's very beautiful. The environments are very detailed and the character customization is very intricate. There are a lot of options when creating your character. Animations are nice, the armor and weapons are... a little too over the top in my opinion, but it's a Korean game so the style is more suited for their tastes, I suppose. Still, there's a lot of polish shown.
That being said, "looks" seem to be this game's selling point. It's a very pretty game. The gameplay, though, is just like any other MMO. The class system is the same class system used in every MMO since they first premiered: tank, healer, mage, rogue(scout). They branch off later, but again; nothing new or refreshing. There is a LOT of grinding to it. WoW is a cakewalk in terms of leveling, this game isn't. The interface and the questing system are a lot like WoW, it's also more PvE oriented like WoW. There are some definite similaries, so if that's a problem you should look more into it.
A lot of people rave about the lore and the story but it's highly exaggerated. The cutscenes are nice, but most are pointless. For instance, I had to find a witch. The cutscene showed me a witch standing in front of her house. Not really something that required a cutscene. Also most players don't give two shits about lore. I'm not going to read every single quest. I click accept and move on. And there are only two races. So after you play through once you can only play through a second time and expect to experience a new story.
Overall, it's a good game but nothing new. I would suggest testing the game out first before buying it.
