I still don't get why there doesn't seem to be translations to any of Alice Soft's games, they are GOOD...

because most of the translations sites (I assume) doesn't even know how good any of these games are. (I assume) They fail to realize that old games are much better than any new games.

(I assume) big translator sites will only follow the demands from the fans, and mostly the fans wants more SEX, TEARfest, Bloody, Dark, or SUPER-COMPLEX-MIND-FUCK games (Nitro+, for example. Don't hate them but there's already too many translation from Nitro+, and we need to balance that).

and in the end all the "Light Hearted, Romantic VNs, falls down to Smaller Translation groups, that is working very slowly and doesn't receive many encouragments. (To Heart 2, Tomoyo After, etc etc)

Imo I think it's the other way around, small motivated translation groups see this awesome VN and starts working on it (TH2, Tomoyo After etc) ASAP since it's nice and popular afterall. Then the marginal progress decreases due to declining motivation and issues, and finally the project is stalled (not dropped), with their name on the project, bigger translation groups cant touch it due to ethical issues and it would be a waste to translate something that is already translated half way. Therefore, years and years of waiting by the fans, watching that 50% for years without movement, while bigger translation groups and companies who has a ensured progress ability have to make do with choosing the untouched ones.

As for Alicesoft games...well... I guess the popularity isnt enough, majority rules, after all.

can someone please explain to me what i am doing wrong. after mounting the first image (escalayer_d1)with daemon tools lite an installation window appears. after choosing the first choice (R)it gives me the option between 992MB or 1545MB to install. I choose the larger amount assuming that it'll have more content but once it gets to about 36% the install fails and asks me to retry. This problem happens happens with both options. is there some kind of guide to installing this game. i really wanna play it. i tried mounting all the images at once and then installing but that doesn't work either. i'm at a loss here :(, some help would be very appreciated
