Usually, but it's not instant guarantee. I usually have multiple torrent sources "anime-sharing", "h-share" and "isohunt" and lastly google... lol

You can find a lot of VNs on sukebei.nyaa but you need to search using the original name (in jap) which you can get from VNDB. As for Eroge Download site, there aren't torrents for every game since the admin from the site started to use them since some months ago.
You can usually google something like "[VN name] torrent" and you'll probably get something if those sites don't have what you're looking for.
Remember that a torrent always needs seeds so confirm it has seeds before you start downloading something.

Every time I see website names of torrents and DLs getting posted I get the paranoia feeling that they might get shut down because of it. T_T

If anyone wants to play this but doesn't know Japanese: I'm an utter amateur at Japanese but I managed to play through this game and it was worth it. Just reference the alice soft wiki for how the game works and the rest is trial and error.

could someone reupload the partial patchIts not a partial, its a (really small) Teaser patch. You might want to ask for it on the rance General on 4chan. But honestly it covers about 10 minute of the Game so its not really worth going to such lenghts.
In other news: Ludo has announced on The Rance General that significance progress has been made on the 5D tool.(You know the thing that has lead the Rance translations to an almost complete standstill) Of course that can mean whatever the hell it wants, but its worth having an eye on it just in case.
14.05.13 Update: All current Rance translations have received an update today on Ludo's Blog. Things may indeed finally heat up again.
