Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Awwww, well I made a thread shortly after someone pointed this thread out to me. heh thats sure a lot of egg on my face ^^;;. But YESSS! This game is nothing short of fantastic, not the perfect grade a horror game but its damn near close. I have a major respect for this game and Fractional Games now. One of the main reasons I love this game is because of the enemy's you face. They have 3 fundamental games I think all horror games kinda lost site off over the past 10 years. 1: There few and far between, worse then having a ton of enemies all surrounding you is having one lurking behind a corner but you never know when ones gonna show up cause ya spent 15 minutes like I did checking every corner and every room for one. 2: There predicable in nature, but invulnerable. You make almost any recurring enemy invulnerable and I'm pretty sure your gonna pee your pants when that said enemy is chasing you (I.E Pyramid Head). So many horror games now give ya ways to defend yourself with guns and pipes that when ya get towards the end of a game your know your gonna be safe when pulling the trigger of a shotgun, not necessarily a bad thing that you have no weapons, but the devoted story and atmosphere make up for that and get ya soaked in the world that ya dont care. And 3: The enemies are fucking scary looking! With exception to the water shadow (which even I think its scary and makes me laugh a little when a game makes me afraid of water) the enemies are extremely macabre looking if you ever look on directly in the face. First enemy has a melted lower jaw, fish eyes, stubby narrow claws and limbs, and metal feet. Unlike most silent hill games where the enemies kinda look human but abstract, they fact these enemies can look so human but we know there not just terrifys us, well me anyway. Also its kinda scary cause unless you youtube a video of the monster up close (again like I did) you never even really see its fully body or face. First time I saw the first enemys (fish jaw as I like it) face my eyes went wide and I ran Daniel to any area I could never looking back not even once. XD But now I ramble to much....
