Any Escape Velocity fans around?

Anyone here remember this old series? It built my childhood, I love it.

Oh man! I was just talking about this series with a friend about a month ago. I wish I knew where to get my hands on a free copy of those games (I know where to get not free copies obviously but I'm a little short on cash these days). Sadly it was so long ago that I played them and for such a relatively short amount of time that I have pretty much only a general sense of what the games were like and not specific knowledge.

They're still all available for download, the campaigns get cut short but most stuff is still there. It's a shame the original and Override were never ported to Windows. I miss my tiger :(
