So, any chance of this getting a Western localization? Seeing EXAMU made this with the Arcana Heart games widely known under their name, I would like to see it happen after Arc Systems licensing of the US version of AH3 possible, we need more 2D anime type fighters over here.
considering the steps aksys went over licensing AH3 [digital download, PSN only], i dont expect aquapizza to ever see the light of day here, outside of imports
Well, now knowing the heavy licensing that this game alone will have to go through, I can see its unlikely for a US port in the future. That sounds like a real shame, I would have really have loved to see this game localized so I can finally play it now that I'm retiring from Arcana Heart 3 after recently getting the platinum. Guess I'll just have to stick watching the tourney vids for it on YouTube to get my fix till Guilty Gear Accent Core comes to PSN soon.
Just get the game imported, who needs an english translation for a fighting game?
That...may be kind of difficult depending on the region of the world I'm living, I got to query about imports first before I try to do anything to my PS3 if I really wanted to play this game, but its also going to cost me money I could have used to get other games or a single $50 Playstation Network Card. Current next gen titles, accessories and games sell for a heavy price tag down here in my country and I don't want to risk spending too much just to enjoy one game.
After doing some research, I realized that Aquapazza - Aquaplus Dream Match isn't a new game. It should have been released in the various Japanese video arcades quite a while ago...
However, upon looking up some items on amazon.co.jp earlier today, I realized that said title will be coming to the PS3 platform! Basically, Aquapazza - Aquaplus Dream Match is a 2d fighting game featuring characters from the various titles developed by Aquaplus and Leaf. One of the main reasons this game caught my eye was the presence of Manaka Komaki. :)
Without further ado, a promotional video for the PS3 version of the game:
I wonder if new characters will be available for download since it is on the PS3 platform? Even though I don't own a PS3, I am very tempted to purchase a copy upon its release, so that I can play it at a friend's place.
For members who have played Aquapazza - Aquaplus Dream Match previously, would you recommend said title?
Sorry for the inconvenience ...lol

Well you can delete this post after you merge it.
Like what Ryssen said, the irony (starting humming the song by Claris)! Lol!
To go a little off topic, I hope the search function gets fixed soon. All the results after 7 Feb 2012 are not showing up for users, or at least myself.
Is anyone playing Aquapazza on their PS3 recently?
I have a Playstation 3 temporarily in my care and I am hoping to play some games with my fellow Fakku members. :)
just add my PSN name which is exactly same with my name here.
i've played this game when it first came out in arcade so i already know some basics except for the new characters.
even though i'm still rarely do an online battle,i'm trying to get used to the new characters in story & extra story mode.
Ma-Ryan's annoying as usual but Chizuru's a beast as the last boss in extra mode.
I think I may end up importing this. Does anybody know if it's any good?
I bought the arcade stick version and the limited edition. From what I notice, most characters are unable to string your usual Light, normal and heavy attacks > to a special or splash arts. In fact most of the time combos will end if you hit with a heavy attack, the only way to continue is to use assists. There are some exceptions like Tamaki who can string basic 3 hit combos into her iron claw. There are some characters like Touka that cannot string her light to medium attacks.>_<.
